Swing Shoes
I love swing
dancing because the shoes are so comfy! I
can dance for days and my feet won’t
hurt. If you are just starting out, buy some
Ked knock offs that fit well and take them
to a cobbler. Ask him to shave down the bottom
enough to make them flexible and suede them
for you. If you are on a limited budget, I
recommend Ralph’s Shoe Repair. Tell
him Mary sent you. He’ll suede women’s
shoes for $8 and men's for $10! You may have
to re-glue your soles with E6000
adhesive at some point, but you can't
beat that price.

For a dressier look women will want some wedgies!
(no higher than a 2 ½” heels)
Women with small feet you may be able to find
some vintage wedgies in your local thrift shop. Another popular option is to buy vintage remakes. You can purchase them at the Los Angeles stores below or order them online.
